Preschool Assistant Job at The Learning Center (Jasper, TN)

An assistant teacher works with multiple pre-k classes and reports directly to the lead teacher in each class, providing an extra pair of hands throughout the morning.
Hours are part time (5 hour morning shift, 5 days per week,) with the option to pick up extra hours frequently, if desired.
Applicants for this position must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must pass the Department of Human Services background check before hire.
Tasks in a typical day may include but are not limited to:
Supervision of children ages 3-6
Small group activities/instruction
One-on-one interaction with children
Snack preparation/supervision
Assisting with toileting/diapering
Cleaning
Moving quickly in a classroom or on a playground with natural (not smooth or paved) terrain
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
