Preschool Assistant Director Job at AmeriMont Academy
We are looking for a responsible Preschool Assistant Director to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Preschool Assistant Director include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, assisting in classrooms if needed, and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like Google Sheets, Jams, Drive, and office equipment. With previous experience as a Preschool Assistant Director or Lead Preschool Teacher, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Preschool Assistant Director should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our school by working hand in hand with the Campus Director and families.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists
- Provide general support to visitors
- Give tours when needed
- Assist Director in different areas as needed to ensure a quality program
Skills
- Proven experience as a Preschool Assistant Director or Lead Preschool Teacher
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in Google Systems (Google Sheets and Google Documents, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- 12 ECE core units and 3 Admin units
- High School degree
- LiveScan Background Check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
