Preschool Teacher Job at Sycamore School
This is a full-time teaching position in one of our preschool classrooms for the 2023-2024 school year. In your role as lead teacher, you will be expected to collaborate with your fellow colleagues to bring preschool to life for our students. The right person for this position will be able to create a supportive and academically engaging environment for our gifted learners.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education

Gifted and Talented Endorsement or High Ability Licensure is highly preferred
-
Minor in Early Childhood is preferred
-
Demonstrated lead classroom experience (prefer preschool through kindergarten)

Understanding of and ability to differentiate curriculum
-
Experience with academically gifted students either through pull-out instruction or a self-contained classroom

Ability to write and develop curriculum appropriate for young gifted learners including the ability to provide an enriched curriculum in all areas

Knowledgeable in creating a positive classroom environment for all students

Experience working in a team teaching environment

Capability to develop and maintain appropriate working relationships with parents
