Press Brake Operator
Job Summary:

• Set-up & trouble shoot Amada NC-9 Brake Press

• Create precision formed parts within tolerance in job shop environment

• Review job folders to verify material type, tooling, assist in staging or supporting other operators as able/needed

• Review print/job folder to verify requirements, procedure, run-time

• Determine locations of cutting lines, dimensions, allowances, & tolerances to verify and/or plan order of part bends

• Locate necessary tooling for job requirements, load and align fixtures/set up press for precision bends, punches, cuts

• Adjust program/equipment modes, and tonnage in order to meet requirements

• Set stops & back gauges, adjust tooling/die components for multiple or successive passes

• Inspect completed parts with to verify conformance to specifications using hand measurement tools

• Visually examine completed parts for defects/flaws, notify team leader of potential issues

• Responsible for completing in-process and final inspection paperwork accurately

• Monitor machine performance to determine if/when repair or maintenance is needed

Requirements:

• MUST be able to setup own machine (Amada)

• 3+ years of experience as a CNC Press Brake Operator

• 3+ years of experience reading blueprints

• 3+ years of experience with Cincinnati Press Brakes preferred

• Working knowledge with calipers, protractors, rulers and other measurement devices

• Attention to detail as you will be held accountable for parts that you form

• Ability to work overtime as needed (may include weekend work)

• Able to interpret customer drawings

• Capable of setting up and operating press brakes

• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English

• Good attendance history

• Must be willing to under background check and drug testing in accordance with local law enforcement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
