Responsibilities
Job Summary: Reporting to the Pricing & Proposal Manager the Pricing and Proposal Analyst is a key member in TRIUMPH’s proposal and quoting activities across the OEM and Aftermarket business segments. Leading of a cross-functional team, this role’s primary responsibilities are to coordinate the overall response to requests for proposals and requests for quotes through contract award.
In addition to having demonstrated experience in the area’s defined herein, this role requires a high level of integrity, strong multi-tasking & organizational skills, follow through on commitments, and an ability to build relationships across the organization as well as a diverse customer base.
Major Accountabilities:
1. Embedded member of the capture/sales team, collaborating with Business Development and P&L leaders to formulate winning strategies for new development programs.
2. Leads momentum business quotes with primary responsibility over commercial and contractual aspects.
3. Coordinates with Finance and Supply Chain organizations to establish a robust and compliant cost basis as the cornerstone of all business cases.
4. Reviews all Contractual Terms and Conditions, coordinating cross-functional reviews as appropriate to ensure TRIUMPH’s interests are protected and flowed down into the organization.
5. Conducts annual pricing reviews to maximize sales and achieve TRIUMPH growth plans
6. Provides support and guidance in interpreting customer contracts when requested.
7. Releases routine contract letters and supports other formal letters as needed.
8. Prepares documents and analyzes data using combination of ERP analytics and Microsoft Office software.
9. Follows policies & procedures aligned w/Contracts Playbook & company delegations
10. Participates in High Performance Teams representing the Contracts function when applicable.
11. Fosters positive relationships with internal and external customers.
12. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Essential Functions and /or Physical Limitations:
This position requires experience leading multi-faceted proposals and multi-year quotes as well as in-depth knowledge of commercial contracts, DoD acquisitions, & financial concepts. MS Excel and general mathematical ability are essential along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Occasional travel may also be required
Work requires the ability to understand and follow instructions in English; to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; and to work effectively as part of a team. Work may also require bending, carrying, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Minimum Education Required: College Degree in Business Management and/or Engineering Management required. Master’s in business administration a plus.
Minimum Experience Required: 5+ years business development, proposal management, contracts, program management, or related experience in an aerospace with familiarity of FAR 12/15 is required. Expert knowledge in government contracting a plus.
