Responsibilities

We are looking for a Process Operator - Cookeville, TN that has experience in a production setting.

The duties include:

• Checking parts for dimensions and proper finish against prints

• Managing multiple machines simultaneously, as needed

• Setting-up and running the machinery, loading raw materials and unloading finished parts.

• Maintaining safety protocols within the facility.

• Optimizing machine utilization by adhering to standards of operation.

• Achieving quality production

• Serving as a mentor to Assistant Process Operator - Cookeville, TNs by guiding them in the set-up, start-up, operation, and shut down tasks of the machine

• Completing any other tasks assigned by the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Diploma
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Willing and able to work overtime and as required
• Willing to work any shift as necessary
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Basic proof-reading and math skills.

You should be proficient in:

• Machine Setups for Production Runs
• Blueprint Reading
• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills

• Aiming to generate quality production

• Acting as a leader to Assistant Process Operator - Cookeville, TNs by guiding them in the set-up, start-up, operation, and shut down tasks of the machine

• Executing any other tasks assigned by the Plant Manager.

Salary info:

$14 - $15.40 / hr
