Job Description:
AriensCo is seeking a motivated and passionate Product Manager, responsible for using a customer-centric approach in the development of appropriate marketing objectives, strategies and tactics to support our teams in meeting revenue targets for a product line expansion. Scope of work includes leadership over promotion, marketing campaigns, programs and channel communication. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, internal & external sales, marketing communications, customer care and supply chain.
The Product Manager will champion new product launch communication and drive customer value proposition through effective marketing strategies and promotions while demonstrating a passion to learn, teach, grow, and adopt the AriensCo core values into their daily work.
The Day to Day....
  • Manage goals and objectives associated with product line regarding advertising, promotion, web site, trade-show displays, and literature
  • Administer and monitor promotions and marketing campaigns for new to market product line and create and maintain a promotions calendar
  • Provide financial analysis and evaluation of marketing programs and product opportunities as required
  • Work in conjunction with Pricing Analyst to create, track, and maintain promotional pricing strategies, including segment strategies for each customer level and type
  • Drive profitable volume growth for a new product portfolio by developing, collaborating and executing sales & marketing strategies/plans within an existing sales channel
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal personnel regarding program details
  • Serve as liaison between Product Management and Sales to build an effective marketing strategy based upon product seasonality, availability and profitability as well as customer/channel objectives
  • Work with graphic design and creative teams to develop and visually communicate promotional and marketing materials in a format appropriate to share with customers in a variety of mediums
  • Assure the training, communication, and performance of each promotion and marketing campaign, create all tools needed for sales team as well as be the point of contact for any questions or feedback related to marketing and promotion initiatives and objectives
  • Develop and document procedures and processes related to specific work tasks and responsibilities
  • Track, evaluate and document performance of executed marketing initiatives and continue to evolve plans as a result of this activity
  • Participate in trade events, sales calls, training and business planning as required
The Qualifications...
  • BA or BS Degree in marketing related discipline required; with 5+ years marketing experience
  • Strong customer orientation, including experience leading Voice of Customer initiatives
  • Ability to lead teams and develop go-to-market strategies
  • Desire and willingness to take action, strong initiative
  • Team player fully supportive of division and company objectives and culture
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to recommend creative, out of the box solutions
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven collaborator and contributor through virtual meetings and electronic communication mediums
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess the ability to adapt within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the outdoor power equipment industry or other similar consumer product industries
  • Sales and marketing experience working with brick & mortar and omni channel retailers or distributors
