Product Manager, Computational Imaging and Photography Job at Google
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.
-
5 years of experience in a technically-oriented product management role in consumer or enterprise hardware, silicon development, or operating systems.
- 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in consumer electronics and product development.
- 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in computer vision, computer graphics, image processing, or computational photography.
- Experience defining and launching computer vision and imaging solutions for consumer electronics products.
- Experience working with hardware (e.g., how chips are built, RTL/VHDL/Verilog, Interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet)), Machine Learning details (e.g., recommendation systems, NLP, image and vision), ML Accelerators, and with hardware simulators.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $164,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive computation imaging and photography roadmap strategy in collaboration with Engineering, Device Product Managers, Software Product Managers, other Silicon Product Managers and Research to create true differentiation in first-party devices.
- Partner closely with product teams across Google to understand their goals, objectives, and opportunities for strategic alignment.
- Evaluate new applications, use cases, proofs-of-concept, technologies and standards, and advocate for/against adoption based on system-level and use-case consideration.
- Drive early and ongoing alignment between engineering and Product Management, Software, and Research teams.
- Establish relationships with critical computational imaging ecosystem partners to develop in-depth knowledge of capabilities and roadmaps.
