Artistic Sign Design is the leader in vehicle graphics for the majority of Utah and surrounding states' law enforcement agencies. 80% of our vehicle graphics are for police, fire, or various emergency management services. We are a small company with a great atmosphere and will train the right person in our sign-making software, Flexi. This is a great company to grow with and offers a wide variety of client and project experiences.

Our ideal hire must have the following experience:

• Illustrator and Photoshop. Although Illustrator and Photoshop are not our main software, we do use it for design regularly, so knowledge of this is a must.
• We would request that applicants have a good sense of design, no college degree is necessary but we prefer 2+ years of professional experience.
• We require somebody comfortable using a PC as Microsoft Windows is the computer systems we run.
• Talk with clients in person or over the phone to discuss graphics or design changes.

The skillsets we are looking for are as follows:

• Someone who is good at paying attention to detail but able to work efficiently.
• Someone who is willing to learn and has an open mind to learn new skills.
• Someone who can take instruction and be willing to collaborate on projects.
• Basic math skills to be able to take accurate measurments of vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday (optional 8am to 4pm on Fridays)
• Answering phone calls and emails/working with clients
• Designing a variety of logos, graphics, and marketing materials
• Assisting with production which entails printing, laminating, and cutting
• Preparing items such as small decals or lettering for customer pick-up
• Taking accurate measurements for vehicle graphic layouts

Your job will include seeing a design through the entire process, from working with clients on designs all the way though getting it ready to be installed in our shop. Other reccuring projects outside of vehicle graphics are banners, stickers, business cards, fliers, logo designs, and signs along with a variety of other things as well.
