- These assemblies may need to be fully populated and are complex in nature.
- They must be assembled with attention to detail and quality to meet or exceed KGPCo and customer expectations.

- Pay: $60,000 - $70,000/yr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and manage the flow of work through the AWTI shop and process
- Oversee installation staff and report time tracking for all work completed
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and QA/QC resources to ensure work is completed according to the job specification, quality requirements, and timelines.
- Oversee the inventory and reporting of materials, to include shortages, damages, and other material abnormalities.
- Ensure activities comply with all company EHS policies and appropriate OSHA regulations, and to perform operational risk assessments to ensure that risks are mitigated in activities of Operations personnel.
- Schedule and monitor installation manpower to ensure that hours used are at or below budgeted installation hours.
- Ensure Installation resources are properly trained and manage cross-functional training to minimize workflow impacts of staff shortages and absences.
- Effectively communicate to subordinates, peers and higher management all pertinent issues.
- Evaluate performance of subordinates, recommend retention, recommend advancement and recommend pay changes.
- Basic assembly, installation, and cabling of Telecommunications gear, racks, power components, and other equipment.
- Install power and signal cabling, including lugs, RJ45 connectors, alarm connections, dressing, labeling, lacing, and similar cable installation activities
- Inventory hardware materials including receipt, inspection for damage or defect and confirms counts; physically builds the assembly following customer’s engineering specifications and drawings with minimal guidance from AWT Supervisor.
- Learn and demonstrate the proper use of tools associated with assembling, wiring, testing, and integration of network equipment and materials.
- Unpacking, checking for damaged product, inventory of all job-related materials.
- Remain current on KGP and industry AWT assembly practices and documentation to include interpretation of Engineering drawings, specifications and prints.
- Supervise assigned physical and mechanical assembly activities, including cabling, power connections and grounding.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
- Moderate electromechanical assembly experience preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with assembly and construction of electromechanical devices for rack, cabinet and enclosure products.
- Detailed knowledge of wireless or wireline service provider infrastructure deployments and installations
- Detailed knowledge wiring and cabling including AC, DC, ground, RF, Coax, ethernet, fiber, multi-pair, and other cabling.
- General knowledge of Telecom industry installation safety and outage protocol requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Understand, follow, and enforce KGPCo Safety practices.
- Quality awareness and ability to implement quality control processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with Telecom Industry Outage protocols is desired.
- Requires demonstrated ability to learn and understand basic electromechanical processes.
- Requires ability to learn, read and understand technical drawings, schematics and documentation; must have the ability to learn electrical color codes.
- Minimum of two years of similar Telecommunications Assembler IV time in grade or documented proficiency.
