Monday-Friday, 4 PM to 12 AM (training will be Monday-Friday 7:30 to 4 PM)

Purpose of the Position
The Production Associate is responsible for direct labor tasks related to the manufacturing process of our block, paver, and other products. The associate ensures quality product is produced and shipped to the customer. This opportunity is great for those who are quick to learn, who have some entry level mechanical skills and are looking to advance their knowledge in industrial environments - machine operation, welding, electrical, etc!

How You Will Make an Impact
- Mix cement, sand, and other construction materials
- Carry materials from mixing area to work area
- Press cement/sand mixtures into molds
- Finish the edges/clean up finished products
- Move products to the kiln areas if necessary
- Clean up and repair the molds and machines
- Perform a 5s cleanup process in various areas of the plant
- Clean work area and tools before and after work
- Operate a forklift
- Other related duties as necessary
What is Needed for the Position
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check is required
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, not required.
- Previous mechanical experience is a plus.
- Basic ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, using the English language is required. Spanish is a plus.
- Steel toe footwear is required.
- Ability to use hand tools, such as a hammer, screwdriver or nail gun is required.
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, crouch or crawl, reach with hands and arms, lift up to 80 pounds is required.
