Production Lead Job at 5th Avenue Recruiting
We are currently seeking for a Bilingual Temp. Production Lead for our packaging department in Davie. We need someone with a proven leadership role in an area of Production (ideally in Packaging) who will help us lead the packaging crew. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
This is a Full time Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00am to 6:00pm

Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Supervises employees in packaging, plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in packaging methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
- Plan the daily packaging activities, revise the work orders and assign the duties to the operators.
- Must be able to assist the Manager in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedure, safety, quality control, and performance management.
- Ensures effective employee relations and resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
- Provides employee coaching and development.
- Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
- Tracks absenteeism and time-keeping.
- Responsible for the inventory of the department
Physical Requirements:
- Works frequently in the production environment, requires lifting, bending, exposure to noise and dust.
