PURPOSE OF POSITION:*
Responsible for receiving, loading, and milling product to meet Anchor Ingredients high quality standards, while ensuring the day-to-day production needs are met with minimal down time and maximum efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:*

Lead Responsibilities:*

• Organize and assign tasks to team members
• Ensure trucks are processed through shipping and/or receiving in a timely manner
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out timely and accurately
• This is a working lead position, and the individual will need to pick up duties to keep things moving smoothly
• Ensure general housekeeping is completed for production areas and warehouse

• Maintain the appearance of the facilities – both inside and out

*
Scaling Trucks*

• All inbound loads (dumping or parking on Dolly Pad - DP)
• Probe, test and scale all loads parked on Dolly Pad - DP
• Retain product samples on all loads – Properly mark retain sample bag
• Scale, ensure correct product, quantity and destination
• Scale out and get all paperwork completed and posted in a timely manner

Production*
Warehouse Operations:

• Assist in daily scheduled production in all areas, ensuring the processing work is performed in an efficient & productive manner:

• Protect product after bagging (proper stacking, shrink wrap, covers, warehouse label) Monitor baghouse reading throughout the day
• Monitor other workers and equipment and report any problems to Supervisor
• and any other tasks that need to be completed around the facility as assigned

General*

• Trouble shoot and communicate breakdowns to our Maintenance team and Supervisor
• Repair minor issues where and when able
• Utilize all members of the team to accomplish tasks, holding yourself and others accountable for duties performed. Ask for help when needed.
• Prioritize employee and food safety first, facility production second and dumping and loading trucks as the third priority.

QUALIFICATIONS:*
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Experience managing employees
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
• Ability to:
• lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• stand for extended periods of time
• work in dust
• open traps on trailers'trucks
• work in confined spaces
• work at heights
