Locally here in the Philadelphia area, we operate two plants, one in Feastervile and the other one in Ivy Land under the name of Berger Brothers. And right now, we have openings on 1st and 2nd shift for machine operators in Ivy Land. And we have openings on all three shifts for Feasterville for machine operators. And in Feasterville we also have openings for two Fork Lift Operators
Basic Duties and Responsibilities for Machine Operators

• Set-up involves the setting of length controls, adjustments of width guides, tapers, loading coiled stock and stringing up of machinery.

• Collect finished product into bundles and package in accordance with packaging standers

• Should be able to complete production sheet
• Be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed on a frequent basis.
• Ability to stand on your feet for the shift

• Move the finished product to a shipping pallet using established lifting techniques.

• Make sure the product and carton labels are correct and in the proper place.

• Maintain adequate supply of operating supplies in work area but restocking as necessary.

• Make periodic inspections of product length and overall product quality.

• Notify a supervisor of any quality problems.

• Lubricate the machine or refill lubrication devices as required.

• Dispose of any scrap metal and complete required documentation

• Maintain a safe work area and keep in a neat and orderly manner.

• Knowledge of 5S concept and follow company guidelines

• Accurately fill out all required paperwork.

• Enter all time and production information into the computer in a timely and accurate manner.

• Be able to work overtime and some weekends as or if needed.
