• Group Leader / Management position with 5-7 initial direct reports.
• Responsible for day-to-day running of assembly group, primarily comprising of engineers and technicians.
• Meet production schedule and quality targets.
• Manage work orders and assignments for the factory and team.
• Implement systems and processes for workflow, design files, tech drawings, documentation.
• Recruit and grow team to 10-15 by end of 2023.
• Direct line management of quality, production and DFM engineering teams.
• Oversight in the recruitment, hiring, and training of manufacturing and engineering employees.
• Oversight of custom engineering activities and machine shop operations.
• Management of delivery, shipping and receiving resources.

• Oversee the assembly of LED lighting fixtures.
• Ensure production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Review production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.
• Ensure a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.
• Identify and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
• Organize departmental management structure and teams for optimal, efficient operations.
• Deliver progress and production reports to executive team members as requested.
• Supervise equipment purchase, maintenance, and layout.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field required; Masters degree preferred.
• At least ten years of experience in industrial management required.
• Knowledge of assembly of electro-mechanical assemblies and/or PCB/PCBA experience a strong plus.
