Position Summary:
We are seeking a Production Operator in our Newark, Delaware facility for our weekend shift. This role is a hands-on production position in fast-paced, high volume manufacturing cell. Key responsibilities include pouring molds, de-molding products, cleaning and assembling molds, assisting with the layup and breakdown of furnace loads, sand blasting and preparing product for shipment. This is a full-time position that alternates weekly between 3x12-hour shifts (Friday - Sunday, 5 am - 5pm) and 4x12-hour shifts (Thursday-Sunday, 5am - 5pm).
Responsibilities/Duties:

• Correctly identify and build molds according to casting schedule
• Assist in building loads for carbonization kilns
• Assist in breaking down carbonization kiln loads
• Clean infiltrated product, using the grit-blasting machines, per procedure
• Maintain grit-blasting machines with basic preventive and routine maintenance (daily)
• Follow standard work procedures and detailed instruction
• Prioritize in a multi-task work cell
• Keep accurate written documentation
• Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment
• Assist in preparing and breaking down of furnace loads
• All other duties, as assigned

Qualifications/Other Requirements:

• Work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Able to get along well with others.
• Basic proficiency in data entry
• Good communication (oral and written) skills.
• Ability to keep accurate records.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 50 pounds (or heavier with assistance) repeatedly.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, squat, and walk about the facility
