Position Summary

The Program Coordinator will support the work of the Non-appointee program..

Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational coordination to the Non-appointee program.
  • Assist with program logistics including budget management.
  • Assist with program communications, which may include coordination of website updates.
  • Coordinate special training events for program.
  • Provide administrative support for program/project. Support committees and associate work groups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three years' program management.
  • Previous HR experience.
  • Workday experience.
  • Experience working with project management of a complex program.
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access.
  • Highly self-directed and independent worker.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to choose the best organizational process or work flow for a given context and application.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity, knowledge, and skills for working with issues of power, privilege, identity, racial equity, and cultural humility in pedagogy, reflection, and community contexts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Scientific literacy skills, including ability to interpret and communicate climate science and policy to a wide range of audiences.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details while maintaining a landscape view of priorities, values, and vision.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple functions, audiences, and priorities.
  • Ability and willingness to work occasional evening and weekend hours as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
  • Three years relevant experience.

Salary Range

$20.15 - $31.26 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
