What you’ll be working on:

• 
  Revenue - Review customer contracts and ensure timely invoicing and collection of A/R in accordance with contract terms, monthly review of revenue and margin.
• Change Order Management- Work closely with project managers to ensure change orders have proper documentation and are completed in a timely manner.
• Partnering with Operations management and strong in-person communication/ management participation.
• Cash Management – Weekly update of cash forecast of sources and uses.
• Accounting Close - Participate in monthly close, booking journals, accruals and performing reconciliations including fixed assets and assets under construction.
• Financial Statements - Take ownership of the preparation of accurate and timely accrual basis financial statements including balance sheet, statement of cash flows and P&L.
• FP&A - Budget/Forecasting - Budget Variance analysis for various types of budgets.
• FP&A - Maintain and perform analysis on key performance indicators.
• Assist Business Unit Controller and CFO with preparation of financial models such as:
  • Scenario planning
  • Capital budgeting
  • Financial statement analysis
  • Cash flow analysis
• Work closely with operational managers to meet financial support needs.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis and process improvements as required.

What is expected of a Project Controller - Enterprise Operations:

• 
  College/University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting a must.
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills required (Tables, Pivot Tables, Functions, etc.)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience reviewing/analyzing Work in Progress Reports.
• Minimum 5 years direct accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience a strong plus. CPA or CMA a strong plus.
• Experience in construction or manufacturing with full understanding of Percent Complete accounting.
• Vista ERP experience a plus, but not required.
• Capable of independent work, history of continual process improvement in delivery of financial requirements.
