Nature of Work
Coordinate the work of the “Reduce Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking on Campus Grant Program.” The Director will work closely with Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, and the Coordinated Community Response team (CCR) to provide training for faculty and staff, plan violence prevention programs for students, and foster partnerships with law enforcement and service providers. The Project Director will also work with student educators and staff to assist with the planning, implementation, and assessment of gender-based violence prevention programs.

Examples of Work Performed
1. Participate in the Coordinated Community Response team (CCR) including annual training on gender-based violence, strategic planning, case reviews, and policy analysis and revision.
2. Work closely with Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and the Coordinated Community Response team (CCR) to provide training for faculty and staff, plan violence prevention programs for students including bystander intervention, and foster partnerships with law enforcement and service providers.
3. Facilitate gender-based violence prevention, education, and training for law enforcement, student conduct board, and other employees.
4. Collaborate with faculty, peer resources (student educators) and staff across campus to assist with the planning, implementation, and assessment of gender based violence prevention programs.
5. Work with local law enforcement and victim service agencies to improve victim-centered response.
6. Develop and distribute printed materials with information about gender-based violence and Campus Climate survey results with key students, staff, and faculty groups on campus.
7. Partner with the Principal Investigator to administer the grant including record keeping of all grant-related expenses, OVW approval of prevention and education programs, and products and materials created with grant funds.
8. Serve as the lead for the project implementation plan including tracking activities, progress, deadlines and deliverables to inform and update the plan.
9. Participate in OVW-directed Technical Assistance webinars, conference calls, and trainings.
10. Partner with Principle Investigator to oversee tracking and compliance with the statutory minimum requirements of the grant including annual training for campus law enforcement, student conduct board, and prevention and bystander education programs for all incoming students.
11. Complete semi-annual progress reports listing grant-related activities and progress toward completing grant requirements.
12. Work with the Project Supervisor to complete quarterly financial reports.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in counseling, social work, public health, criminal justice studies or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s degree from an accredited institution in counseling, social work, public health, criminal justice studies or related field
2. Experience implementing sexual and interpersonal violence prevention and/or offender accountability initiatives in a higher education setting
3. Strong knowledge of principles, research, and best practices as they relate to primary prevention, specifically in a college setting
4. Budget management experience
5. Familiarity with writing grant-related reports
6. Microsoft suite experience
7. Experience working within student database systems, such as PeopleSoft
8. A minimum of two years of related professional experience, including experience working with multiple systems (such as advocacy, court, legal, higher education, etc.) in the field of sexual and interpersonal violence prevention, education, policy, response and/or advocacy
9. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
10. Proven organizational and interpersonal skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks with initiative and flexibility
11. Cultural competence and ability to work sensitively with diverse students
12. The ability to work well among diverse coworkers in a fast-paced environment
13. The ability to manage and organize complex information
14. The ability to use analysis and critical thinking skills to solve problems
15. Good written and verbal communication skills
16. The ability to work with confidential information
17. Experience handling the routing of information through complex workflows
18. The ability to interact with the public in an effective manner with sensitive information
19. The ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Salary Information
Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Attractive and comprehensive fringe benefit package. Annual Salary range is $38,277- $47,846. If start date is after July 1, 2023, annual salary range is $39,999- $49,999.
