Description

Engineer and/or construction professional needed with 3 or more years field experience. You will join our nationally recognized engineering and construction company and work on award-winning complex industrial, environmental (solid waste) and power related projects. This position is responsible for supporting project management needs of the procurement phase of trade subcontractors and supporting the field throughout the construction phase with contract administration, invoicing, schedules and submittals.

Working with the project team, you will provide support in the field for the coordination, progress and administration of the construction activities. You also will assist with implementing procurement strategies for equipment suppliers and construction subcontractors.

Clients are a mix of Fortune 200 corporations with locations throughout the US and large municipalities. We are an established 30 year old company headquartered in Melville, NY typically taking the prime position over all disciplines of engineering and construction thereby offering an exciting and dynamic work environment from concept to project completion/commissioning.

Requirements
Engineering or construction management degree and/or demonstrated experience in the construction of complex, multi-trade industrial, environmental or power projects. Minimum 3 years experience with a blend of office and field experience preferred. Excellent skills with Excel, document control (Procure) and project management scheduling software (Primavera) are desired. Travel is required, this position is a blend of office and field work evolving over time to mostly office work. AutoCAD skills and engineering degree is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
