Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Project Management Support at Lackland AFB, TX. Active TS/SCI Clearance and a United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position. Willing to take Polygraph.

The 390 COS operates, manages, trains, and readies Airmen to execute computer network exploitation and attack. The 390 COS provides network warfare capabilities to the United States Air Force (USAF), Joint Task Forces (JTF), and combatant commanders. This contract will provide Squadron strategically planned recommendations and solutions to the 390 COS/CC and Staff, enabling the 390 COS to provide programs and combat ready forces that support AF, DoD, and global cyberspace operations


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical subject matter expertise to support the 390 COS in the development, modification, and publishing of operational schedules in support of Air Force Military Operations (AMO).
  • Must be knowledgeable on all applicable Air Force Instructions; MAJCOM instructions; Wing, Group, and Squadron supplemental instructions and policies; Ready Cybercrew Program (RCP) Training Memorandums (RTM) to apply the associated knowledge to implement scheduling methodologies to support AMO.
  • Maintain functional knowledge of cyber crew positions; as well as the operational and training requirements for each position. This includes knowledge and utilization of applicable operational and training databases and applications that track the aforementioned requirements and progression for AMO operators.
  • Apply knowledge to develop schedules on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Coordinate with the Combined Tactical Operations Center (CTOC) Scheduling Cell to ensure operational requirements are scheduled and filled with the correct operators.
  • Be cognizant on organizational and operational objectives and balance the aforementioned objectives with the operational and training requirements for AMO operators.
  • Must be familiar with the cyber operations tasking cycle and will coordinate and develop schedules based on the tasking cycle and CTOC coordination.
  • Identify scheduling gaps and make recommendations to management on how to resolve scheduling conflicts. In addition to operational requirements, the contractor shall consider leave, medical appointments, military requirements, deployments, and unique situations (i.e., emergencies) when developing and modifying the operational schedule.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise in support of capabilities management for the 390 COS.
  • Be responsible for the management, tracking, assessment, and recommendation of cybersecurity and technology capabilities to support Air Force Military Operations (AMO).
  • Must be knowledgeable on all applicable Air Force Instructions; MAJCOM instructions; Wing, Group, and Squadron supplemental instructions and policies.
  • Maintain functional knowledge of cyber crew positions, as well as the operational and training requirements for each position.
  • Coordinate with the CTOC capabilities cell to track and manage squadron capability requests. In addition, the contractor shall coordinate with the CTOC capabilities cell and 390 COS scheduler to assign Tool Champions from the list of qualified operators assigned to the 390 COS. The Tool Champions will be responsible for oversight of the development of the requested capability.
  • Coordinate Tool Champion involvement with the purchase and/or development, as well as the evaluation and implementation of requested capabilities.
  • Work with the Tool Champions to schedule necessary Operational Evaluation events for new capabilities.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders at external organizations and assigned AMO operators; effectively balancing operational needs and capability development. This includes coordination with partner squadrons to capability testing and onboarding.
  • Facilitate, monitor, and track the life cycle of capability management; from the collection of requirements to the implementation and integration of new capabilities into AMO.
  • Interface with AMO operators to receive capability requirements for the successful execution of cyber operations.
  • Submit capability requirements to be approved for implementation.
  • Must be familiar with mission requirements, taskings, and execution to ensure that the new capability requirements are accurately identified and captured to meet the operational intent.
  • Provide technical assessments of cybersecurity and technology capabilities. The results of these assessments will be considered when making recommendations to incorporate into current operations.
  • Conduct continuous process improvement (CPI) processes to identify and develop new cyber risk assessment methodologies to incorporate into the assessment process.
  • Document test results, assessment results, and lessons learned and translate associated findings into unit Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) for incorporation into cyber operations.
  • Validate that appropriate tests and evaluations are performed before high-risk changes are implemented.

Experience/Education:

  • 5-7 years of experience working in CNO
  • Minimum two (2) years of operational CNO planning and integration
  • Must be knowledgeable on all applicable Air Force Instructions; MAJCOM instructions; Wing, Group, and Squadron supplemental instructions and policies; Ready Cybercrew Program (RCP) Training Memorandums (RTM) to apply the associated knowledge to implement scheduling methodologies to support AMO.


Certifications:

  • Active PMP Certification or 5 years’ experience as a project manager.


Clearance:

  • Must be a US Citizen and an Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Willing to take Polygraph
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
