Layer 3 Communications, a part of MGT, is seeking a Project Manager to manage and coordinate the completion of technical client projects from start to finish. Additional projects may be enterprise and functional related. Responsibilities will include driving client project initiatives so that all timelines and expectations are met. The Manager will also ensure projects deliver on established goals for business value creation and assist in presenting findings and making recommendations to all levels of management.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Begin, complete, and renew client work with minimal oversight
• Develop strong client relationships
• Lead client meetings
• Manage and participate in the gathering of required data and process calculation on behalf of clients
• Problem solves complex issues on behalf of clients
• Present information orally and in reports
• Develop daily work plans and meet utilization targets
• Participate in corporate activities and show a commitment to the company’s culture
• Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) or more years of consulting experience or equivalent public-sector experience
• Three years (3) or more years of project management experience
• Experience in Monday.com and MS Project
• Strong leadership skills, including people development, team building, and conflict management
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working and building relationships with client executives and with external stakeholders
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and multi-task on multiple projects
• Ability to be flexible to and adapt to the dynamic nature of multiple concurrent consulting engagements
• Ability to travel depending on the sales cycle and client needs

PREFFERED QUALITIFICATIONS

• PMP certification
