stream derived from parts, complete machines, rental, and service. Complete machines are sold both as
“boxed products”, through the Distribution division, and as fully-engineered and fabricated systems

Position Overview
Location: Relevant, 9750 W. Sam Houston Parkway North, Houston, Texas 77064, this position functions
primarily within our Houston headquarters with contact to customers, employees and management.
Duration: Direct Permanent Hire
This position will provide Project Management support for our client. In this role you will manage all
activities for professional engineering projects in accordance with the project schedule. This includes
directing and coordinating the engineering design team, subcontractor activities in accordance with
project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications. You will also serve as the primary
point of contact with the client for project-related activities. The preferred education for this position is a
project management discipline with practical experience in project engineering. The ability to read and
interpret technical drawings and documentation is required. Preferred computer skills include experience
with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft office, Microsoft project, Adobe & similar
office systems.
Essential Job Functions
Manage and direct project teams by providing communication, coordination, and follow-up to
meet project goals and objectives; ensure project scope or work schedule and budget are clearly
defined and understood.
Establish project procedures consistent with contractual documents and quality plans for all
engineering work; determine and oversee all project controls, schedule and budgets.
Serve as project representative with client, vendors, and sub vendors at kick-off meetings, job
walks, project review, and other meetings and correspondence.
Identify and secure necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget, and/or schedule.
Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with
management and engineering team
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning
personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and
performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
Determines and maintains project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating
time requirements; sequencing project elements.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes;
conducting tests, and recommending actions.
Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends;
recommending actions.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

Requirements
Strong familiarity with project management, methodologies, and best practices
Excellent analytical skills
Detailed problem solving and project execution skills
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both customer service and technical
concepts
Previous experience with the following:
o Experience in negotiating and managing contracts.
o Project Control (scope, schedule, quality, and budget)
o Developing customers relationships
o Managing subcontractors
Proficiency in MS Office Products, MS Project and Adobe Acrobat is a must
Other Skills/Abilities
Experience in rotating equipment and/or compression equipment preferred
