PURCHASING AGENT

Location: 1410 W. 1250 S., Orem, UT 84058

Status: Full-Time / Exempt

Hours: Monday - Friday; 40 hrs / week

Pay / Salary: $40,000

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Agent include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides purchasing expertise and support to all College departments in the proper acquisition of products and services deemed necessary for the successful achievement of College objectives.
  • Supports the approved College purchase order process, including the training in approved policies and procedures, and monitoring compliance with these procedures.
  • Supports the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and productivity of Purchasing Team operations.
  • Records and tracks all College assets and property according to approved College policies.
  • Ensures the proper disposal of surplus assets and property according to approved College policies.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a closely related field
    • AND- Two years of experience related to the Summary of Duties;
    • OR- Any combination of education and/or experience related to the summary of duties totaling four years.
