As a Quality Analyst Sr within PNC's Enterprise Data Management organization, this position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.
In this position within the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team, you will be in a role supporting the execution of the Data Governance services that EDG provides to Lines of Business to include Data Quality Monitoring, Data Problem Management, and Metadata Management. You will be required to participate in various enterprise data management forums to ensure you have appropriate exposure to support the implementation of enterprise data quality programs and initiatives.
The ideal candidate would have worked with Alation and/or other data quality tools.
Preferred locations: Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Raleigh, Rocky Mount
Job Description
Assists in the execution of a quality control program within a defined department of the organization. Under supervision, enables adherence with quality management programs. Assists in the execution of the quality program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable. Supports the development and continuous improvement of the quality management system.
Generates reports for distribution to various users in the organization, customers, or suppliers.
Leads quality improvement initiatives; works to develop and improve quality levels; provides training, coaching and feedback. Provides conclusions and recommendations for issues and/or continuous improvement projects.
Conducts quality analysis; identifies systemic issues, executes on effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Supports the development of quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of products and services.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
