Link Solutions is seeking a Senior Information Assurance Lead to join our team in Aberdeen, Maryland.

• This is a non-remote position and may require periodic travel.

The Senior Information Assurance Lead will provide support for large DoD programs throughout the Defense Acquisition Life Cycle including laboratory, test, and integration environments for systems that are both under development and deployed. This is a leadership role in a fast-paced environment and as such requires knowledge and expertise inclusive of large acquisition programs and cyber security operations as well as relevant policies and procedures. The role will also include serving as an expert in all matters related to system IA as a member of a large program team and the ability to perform as a leader for a team of security professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide acquisition documentation related to security, such as the PWS and Performance Based Specification (PBS) paragraphs addressing security and IA, Security by the Critical Program Information (CPI) assessment, and Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254).
• Assist the program office in meeting system IA requirements.
• Support Systems Integration Lab environments with IA upgrades and testing.
• Advise the IA Manager on IA strategies, policies, and certification requirements
• Assist the IAM in correcting IA deficiencies in IA strategy implementation.
• Review Information Assurance Vulnerability Analysis (IAVA) and Security Technical Information Guides (STIGS) and provide testing of security patches for software.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and assist/lead in resolving security vulnerabilities that arise during testing and verification during software enhancements.
• Support the Authority-To-Operate process (ATO) through the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Provide dedicated, on-site support for cybersecurity policies and procedures.

• US Citizen
• Must have an active Government/DoD Secret Clearance equivalent or higher prior to starting.
• A minimum of ten (10) years experience with IA testing that covers technical design issues, IA sustainment issues, and system control processes to ensure compliance with the mandatory DoDI 8500.2 and Army AR 25-2 IA Controls.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government/DoD Secret Clearance.
• A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred:

• A Masters's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience leading a program through the DOD information assurance certification and accreditation processes for systems CONUS and in-theater, IA testing and certification to include platform netcentricity across multiple network domains.
• Program leadership with respect to IA efforts IAW DoDD 8500.1 and AR 25-2.
