Position
Quality Assurance Specialist reporting directly to the Director of Quality Assurance of HemaSource, Inc.
Mission
Executes the development and implementation of our Quality Management System to ensure the products and services meet the required standards of Quality Assurance. Support projects that will help improve documentation and adherence to internal processes. Make sure the customer is taken care of first when process improvement is developed.
Job Duties
- Responsible for cross-functional reconciliation of QA systems that broadly service all HemaSource departments. Owns coordinating customer complaints within HemaSource and vendors. Identifies cross-functional needs for supporting the complaint and see’s the complaint through the beginning of the process to closure. Identifying potential problems with products or services before they reach the customer.
- Become familiar with all company practices (both written procedures and common practices). Identifies opportunities for new system and sales order flows (SOP’s) from receipt to invoice.
- Supports NAPB certification/pharmacy licensure
- Assisting with internal and external audits to include vendor audits.
- Responsible for documentation review for Vendor Qualifications and notification of vendors renewal for final approval of suppliers. Executes approval for non-critical suppliers.
- Prepares reports for key Quality Processes (Quality Review, Training, KPI’s, Complaints, MRB)
- Ensuring that the company’s standards for quality are being followed by all employees
- Help transition from manual processes to systematic processes for training and complaint management
- Identify and support process improvement within Quality and other key areas of the business, develop working relationships with customer service, purchasing, accounting, and warehouse associates.
- Leads the documentation of product certificates for compliance

Requirements:
- Previous administrative and Quality Assurance experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to simultaneously manage a very high level of detail across multiple projects.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
- Able to work well within a team environment, offer assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Some travel required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,478.00 - $74,995.00 per year
