We have an immediate need for a Quality Assurance System Administrator in our Reynoldsburg, OH corporate office. Position summary:

Coordinate and control the annual internal audit plans – create schedule, arrange audit team, follow up on corrective actions, and report internal audit results to the management team.

Perform internal auditor training and maintain internal audit team to ensure coverage of the audit plan.

Support quality improvement activities internally and at suppliers, sister plants, and customer facilities to help improve our quality structure from a corporate level.

  • Support quality training and other administration activities or projects upon request.

Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Associates degree in engineering or equivalent discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing preferred (work or school).
  • 2+ years of experience with ISO/IATF EQMS systems.
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action methods experience preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of automotive production environment and activities.
  • Proficient knowledge of automotive quality tools (PFMEA, PQCT, APQP, Work Instructions, Process Capability, etc.)
  • Experience with relational databases is preferred.
  • Experience with VDA auditing is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both internal and external.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Critical thinking capability.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask on a daily basis and deliver results within strict time frames.
  • Ability to work independently from general supervision.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit activities in preparation for, and during IATF and ISO audits.
  • Ensure documentation related to ISO and IATF16949 is organized and properly controlled.
  • Communicate and follow up on non-compliant internal audit findings.
  • Collect, analyze, control, and monitor audit results and quality information from sister facilities, suppliers, and customers.
  • Implement, support, and maintain registered quality management system(s) through written procedures and work instructions, and perform internal audits as assigned. Experience with QAD or other software-based EQMS preferred.
  • Develop and maintain quality database for past problem history.
  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports as assigned.
  • Assist in quarterly company-wide (Americas Region) quality meeting preparation and follow up activities.
  • Establish and support internal continuous improvement programs as assigned.
  • Support business planning activities at division, department, section, group, and personal levels.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Environmental conditions - Open office environment. May be exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Vocal Communication - Required to express or exchange ideas by means of concise (clear, correct and timely) discussion with coworkers, customers, suppliers, etc.
  • Hearing Perception - Ability to recognize information at normal spoken levels and/or ability to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or make fine distinctions in sound.
  • Sensory Utilization - Prepare and analyze written or computer data.
  • Physical Activities - Required to stand, walk and sit, as well as using hands to pick up, handle or feel objects. May occasionally reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Visual Acuity - There are no special vision requirements.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel of 20-40% may be required from week to week. Some travel is within driving distance of TS Tech Americas, INC, which requires a valid driver’s license. Travel may also include international trips to customers, suppliers, and TS Tech locations in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, China, Japan, and others.
