Location: Remote

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to support a complex and dynamic United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) development and implementation project, geared to modernize technology for a critical program within the Animal Plant Health Inspection Service Wildlife Service (APHIS) Wildlife Services (WS) Division. Our team includes expertise across five functional work streams (Program Management, Design and Development, Training, Analytics, and Operations and Maintenance) in order to provide a customized application solution for the WS field programs.

Successful Candidate will:

• Evaluate, recommend, implement, and oversee automated test tools and strategies

• Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met

• Analyze, research, propose changes to, develop, and monitor the milestones to support accuracy and consistency within project roadmap

• Partner with workstream leads and developers to discuss and define requirements and acceptance criteria

• Design test cases and execute all types of testing on a variety of platforms; analyze and report results

• Using automated and manual processes, execute the test cases to see how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team

• Track each aspect of quality assurance processes to ensure opportunities for defect improvement are addressed efficiently

• Ensure that necessary documentation is maintained in an appropriate manner

• Initiate engagement and communication with the quality assurance points of contacts and stakeholder customers within functional workstreams

• Participate in all phases of risk management assessments

Requirements Include:

• BA and 5+ years of hands-on experience in Web, Mobile, and API testing

• Experience with Postman, JMeter, and Selenium preferred

• Strong functional testing background, including defining test strategy, test planning, test case design, and execution

• Experience working in Agile environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be a highly adaptable self-starter, and have a great attention to details
