Quality Control - In-line Tech - 3rd shifts - for openings in our facility in
Penn Yan, NY.
HOURS: 40+ hours per week (5-6 days per week) may include weekends.
Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for sampling products, examining packaging, testing finished products, checking and recording processing parameter information and ensure food safety, legality and quality.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for sampling products, examining packaging, testing finished products, checking and recording processing parameter information and ensure food safety, legality and quality.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sample product and ensure quality through physical, chemical and sensory evaluation
- Sample packaging and ensure integrity through visual and tear-down examinations
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging formats
- Ensure proper processing through checking and recording parameters
- Other job duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School / GED required
- 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent employment preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Working extended periods of time standing
- Excellent communication skills and working as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts and extended work days
- Six months to one year in food industry experience preferred
