Currently they are looking for a Quality Director who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality requirements, processes, and standards across all locations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and integrate a ISO 9000 compliant quality management system across multiple facilities
- Develop and implement common quality standards, quality tools and practices across the organization with focus on “best practices”
- Lead culture change from a reactive focus to a prevention, continuous improvement focus
- Mentor plant quality leads to ensure growth, improvement, and retention
- Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.
- Prevent escalation of quality challenges.
- Facilitates communication among production divisions and management.
- Periodically reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership.
- Responsible for planning, developing, and directing quality assurance policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Directs process and product testing to ensure materials, parts, and products comply with established quality standards.
- Possesses extensive knowledge of industry standards for product quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related industrial, scientific, or business field required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager or Director, preferably 5-10 years of experience.
- In-depth understanding of quality control procedures, PPAP and first article inspection.
- Experience with quality management systems. ISO or ANSI experience is required
- Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred: Experience or familiarity working with Private Equity Firms.
