Full time - 2nd shift available - East Peoria Bldg KK

We are currently seeking a Quality Specialist to join Team Caterpillar. You will be responsible for audits where you will analyze special problems arising from faulty methods and recommend corrective measures. You are also responsible for meeting all safety, quality and productivity standards.

Job Duties

• Perform a variety of inspection functions to check quality and accuracy of in-process parts

• Inspects and accepts and/or rejects purchased gauges or gaging equipment

• Analyze special problems arising from faulty methods

• Performs salvage weld operations on miscellaneous parts

• Lays out parts using advanced mathematical calculations and precision inspection equipment
  

Basic Qualifications

• Previous experience in Operations

• Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures

• Walk, squat, and bend over for intervals at a time

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong commitment to safety and quality

• Meticulous and analytical nature

• Ability to work various shifts and flexible hours

• M u st be able to successfully pass the Quality Testing administered at the Caterpillar facility
  

Top candidates will also have

• Ability to perform basic math and simple computer operations

• Forklift License

Additional Information

• This is a Full Time position offering benefits including health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401K etc. This position is located in East Peoria Bldg KK

• Shift: 2nd

• Pay is $23.77 hr with an additional $0.60 shift differential for working an off shift

• No relocation package is available

• Candidates must be able to successfully pass the Quality Testing administered at the Caterpillar facility
