Essential Functions:

• Standardization of both magnetic particle and liquid penetrant systems.
• Processing of hardware pre-inspection through magnetic particle and liquid penetrant systems.
• Inspection of hardware using both magnetic particle and liquid penetrant systems
• Completion of all associated documentation for all system standardization and inspection results.
• All periodic maintenance required for both magnetic particle and liquid penetrant systems.
• Observance of all company and E.H.S. regulations and requirements.

Essential Knowledge/ Skills

• Must have previous NAS-410 Certification in Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle inspection
• Must be detailed and precise in nondestructive testing evaluation
• Must be able to follow work order and verbal instructions
• Ability to interpret industry and Internal specifications
• Ability to use Excel, E-Certs, QAD and FIS
• Ability to communicate with auditors
• Attention to detail and documentation of results
• Ability to maintain records and files
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changes
• Ability to read blue prints for dimensions and related test requirements
• Maintains a clean and orderly workplace in accordance with 5S standards
• Active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all EHS Policies and Procedures. Report all incidents immediately

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must have 5 years’ experience
• Must be NDT PT/MT Level 2 certified
• Must have NAS-410 certification
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• The salary range for this position is $22.00 to $32.00 per hour.
