Receptionist/Administrative Assistant – Wadena, MN
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is an indispensable first impression to our current and potential clients, both, on the phone and in-person. They can be considered the gatekeeper of the office by making sure calls and clients are directed appropriately and conference rooms are prepared for all meetings. The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant should be friendly, punctual, trainable and a self-starter.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Answer/transfer calls, document new client information, and complete conflict checks.
- Set up new client files, collect/prepare files for meetings, and transfer physical file once complete.
- Complete daily errands and mail, and assignments given from staff and attorneys.
- Process deliveries, receipts, and deposits/client payments.
- Greet/seat guests, prepare office at the beginning of the day, and order supplies when needed
- All other tasks assigned.

Preferred Skills:
- Friendly, punctual, trainable, and a self-starter.
- Able to work and complete tasks independently.
- Computer literate.
- Adaptable.
- Able to lift or move file boxes.
(Pemberton Law will train suitable candidates.)

Education/Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of office experience.
- Prior law firm or applicable area experience is preferred but not required.

Parameters:
- Full-time, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm equaling 37.5 hours per week.
- In-office (non-remote).

Additional Information:
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant reports to the Marketing Director and Managing Partner in Wadena, MN. This position is non-supervisory, receives an hourly rate of pay, and qualifies for overtime and fringe benefits. Physical requirements are sitting for extended periods and lifting/moving file boxes depending on the needs of the day.
