Part-time Reception and Administrative Support Position
We are looking for a part-time Receptionist to manage our front desk and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks at our Myrtle Beach, SC location. This position is Monday through Friday for five to six hours per day.

What's it like to work as a Receptionist at Brandon?
The Receptionist is responsible for the daily management of the reception desk, general office supplies and daily client mailings during core office hours. This role also provides support to the CFO and accounting team by performing basic accounting functions such as posting receipts ad client invoices to the current accounting software system and providing other administrative support to the Accounting and HR team.
Responsibilities
- Greeting all visitors and callers promptly in a professional manner, ensuring that they always feel welcome.
- Ensuring that the inside and outside of the reception area always looks presentable.
- Ensuring the conference rooms, kitchen and breakroom area always look presentable and remain stocked with supplies.
- Reviewing and approving general office supply requisitions.
- Ensuring that the office telephone system's voice messages are appropriate for all time periods and occasions, specifically alerting callers to times when the office is closed and how they may best receive assistance.
- Opening and sorting incoming mail for distribution to the appropriate person.
- Recording payments received by mail in the accounting system.
- Reviewing, posting, and distributing approved client invoices.
- Reviewing daily time sheet report, completion time sheet check list and emailing daily reminders to the entire team.
- Assisting the print shop with daily mailings by stuffing envelopes and organizing them to ensure lowest bulk mailing fees.
- Dropping mailings and shipments off to the Post Office, FedEx or UPS as needed.
- Assist with other accounting, administrative and other agency functions when appropriate, including light typing, data entry and other responsibilities.
Qualifications for this role:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient with Google Workspace.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service attitude.
