Receptionist/Customer Service Job at Decorative Touch
Busy Furniture Store is seeking a Full Time Receptionist / Customer service person, Sunday through Thursday. Primary duties will include but are not limited to greeting and directing customers, coordinating incoming shipments, setting up customer home delivery schedules, collecting payments, tracking orders, filing claims, resolving customer needs and answering phones. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment. Must have a positive and upbeat attitude at all times.
- Welcoming customers and directing them appropriately
- Answering and making phone calls / taking messages
- Forwarding phone calls to appropriate recipients
- Sending and replying to office emails
- Order tracking and status updates
- Scheduling customer home deliveries
- Scheduling incoming shipments
- Scheduling appointments and meetings for employees and coordinating with clients regarding the meetings
- Filing claims for customers and following up until customer is satisfied
- Collecting payments and keeping office records up to date
- Sending and receiving mail and other correspondence
Office experience is preferred.
