Receptionist-Work Place Host Job at ISS Facility Services (US)
Hourly Wage
ISS offers full time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is
$26.00 - $31.25 per hour.
Hours of Operation
7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm
About the Role
The WorkPlace Host is the welcoming face that every member and guest will see on their arrival to the space and ensures every person entering the building has the best experience of the brand. They know our members best and create valuable relationships and bring the ‘fun’ to the space.
Greeting /Point of Contact
- Ensure every person is greeted hospitably and a high customer service level is maintained
- Answer “walk-up” member and guest questions or refer enquiry to additional resources
- Ensure any emails are responded to within 24 hours
Membership
- Conduct member onboarding and collect accurate information
- Deliver any letters and parcels to members as they arrive
- Keep the members portal and members channel (slack) updated
Building Operations and Management
- Assist with move-ins and move-outs; prepare member welcome gifts
- Identify issues for escalation to site lead and document accordingly
- Help prepare reporting for the site lead
- Support in any research tasks required
- Undertake site tours if required
Who You Are:
- A social butterfly and a self-starter who can motivate themselves
- Highly independent and can problem solve
- Have exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail
- Have demonstrated professionalism, accountability, self-awareness, and high social intelligence in previous roles
- Are passionate about entrepreneurship and community building
- Possess basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Mailchimp

Work Environment
- Work is performed in an office setting
- Sitting at a computer for 30% of the time
- Walking/inspecting/engaging with colleagues/hosting activations the site 70% of the time
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
- Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
