The Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for providing essential financial and clerical services, ensuring efficient and accurate payment of accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Support the collection efforts for the AR portfolio
- Document daily collection activity
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries via phone, email, or mail
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Identify delinquent accounts for external collection efforts
- Track and identify bad debt or financial exposure
- Reconcile account through customer-specific platforms
- Perform additional credit and collection functions to meet established deadlines
Requirements:
- 2 + years of collections, credit, or accounts receivable experience
- Associates Degree (relevant coursework in combination with applicable work experience considered)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strategic problem solving abilities, in both a group and independent setting
- Efficient time management and multitasking abilities
- Detailed organization and follow-up skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
