About the role:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruiting top talent for Tekni-plex in our manufacturing facility. The individual hired will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and execute full life cycle recruiting process for professional and hourly positions (exempt and non-exempt) including sourcing, screening, selection, interviewing and assisting with onboarding.
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Follows up with hiring managers to obtain feedback on the interview and relays status to the candidate in a timely manner. Focus’s heavily on the candidate experience.
  • Leverage Workforce Plans and work directly with the Managers in our plant to assist in the creation of sourcing strategies to identify the best talent
  • Assist in the development and managing of various recruitment programs. Some travel may be required to attend recruiting events and job fairs. This includes interviewing and being able to asses where the appropriate skill set will fit within a specific job opening.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal business partners, hiring manager, and leaders across multiple functional areas to ensure their hiring needs to addressed timely.
  • Coach hiring managers on best in class recruitment, interviewing and hiring practices.
  • Lead and / or assist in the onboarding process for new hires
  • Assist in growing our commitment to building programs on Diversity & Inclusion
  • Monitor internal/external positions for job ad usage and expirations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of manufacturing recruiting experience.
  • Experience in various offsite recruiting programs is preferred.
  • A Bachelors Degree is preferred but not required.
  • Must have previous experience in recruiting for hard to fill roles and have the ability to come up with creative ways in which to identify talent.
