Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for providing full-cycle recruiting, sourcing qualified candidates, having a significant presence in the community and participating in outreach activities, and collaborating with staffing agency partners to meet the talent needs for the organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all stages of full-cycle recruitment of all permanent and agency employees from sourcing to new hire orientation.
  • Conduct new hire orientation for all full time and temporary associates
  • Working with the Sr. HRBP, develops, implements and evaluates recruitment and outreach activities, to recruit and keep the candidate pipeline full
  • Support all organizational recruiting efforts
  • Creates and maintains a strong relationship with selected staffing partners and outreach sources to ensure appropriate communication of job vacancies and strategic sourcing for candidates
  • Manages staffing levels by maintaining accurate reporting of headcount, open positions, internship and agency employees
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Coordinate pre-employment testing, background and reference checks
  • Daily maintenance of the G+D Careers page
  • Manage the HRIS recruiting module; Post and maintain all job postings
  • Create personnel requisitions for open positions
  • Serve as liaison with staffing services organizations
  • Coordinate and implement the employee referral program
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned

Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience developing relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Proven track record of developing and sustaining positive and constructive workforce relationships
  • Solid exposure to and understanding of business acumen
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a diverse audience
  • Excellent organizational, time management, problem prevention and problem solving skills
  • Relevant experience, with proven success in sourcing
  • Experience with ATS
  • Experience using digital assets to recruit

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or Business Administration required
  • 3+ years of HR experience required. Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of human resource disciplines, including, performance management, and effective recruitment strategies.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP, preferred
  • Experience in ADP HRIS preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills. Strong attention to detail required.
