Regional Director of Managed Care

Location: Pennsylvania (Travel to site locations required)

The Regional Director of Managed Care is responsible for education and oversight of case management for the centers within their region. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in a Managed Care role in a long-term care setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to review and understand Managed Care Contracts for a variety of payers
• Understand the MDS requirements for each payer
• Provide education to case management staff
• Provide oversight and guidance to case management staff to ensure payer requirements are in place
• Develop best practices within the organization around case management
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with effective leadership & case management skills in a long-term care setting with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in case management.
• Ability to travel/ drive to any of the locations on a daily basis. May require some overnight stays.
• Proficient in ability to interpret Managed Care/Medicare Advantage Contracts and provide education to the teams in our centers.
• Knowledge of the various payment models for Managed Care
• Must have Managed Care/Medicare Advantage billing knowledge and experience.
• Multi-site experience is preferred but not required
• Must have knowledge of current federal and state rules and regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
