Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) - Will train uncertified candidates Job at Firefly Therapy Clinic
Firefly Therapy Clinic offers Behavior Therapy, Speech, Occupational and Physical therapy. We provide in-clinic and in-home Behavioral therapy and take a collaborative approach among all our therapist to provide the best level of care possible for each individual. We are seeking 6-10 individuals who want to be trained to get certified as Registered Behavior Technicians
The role of the ABA Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt) is to provide ABA services to current patients. This includes the implementation of a treatment plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) addressing communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs and social skills

Current Rbts are welcome to apply. We are also looking to bring on 6-10 individuals who would like to become Rbts.
- 40 hours of training is required to become an Rbt. Firefly Therapy Clinic will compensate you for 20 hours of training, and the cost of the certification
- 20 hours of training will be done on your own, unpaid using our supplemental training materials
- Training will take place as a group and all the new Rbts will start together
- This is a Contract position starting at $19/hour. Currently no benefits are available. (Though we hope to add benefits before the end of 2023)
There is room for advancement in this position for those new Rbts who meet milestones and expectations
Requirements:
- Prior Experience with special needs / autism population a plus but not necessary
- Must love working with children in a challenging and fast paced clinic
- Able to drive your own transportation for in-home treatment (Mileage reimbursement is provided)
JOB DUTIES:
- PROGRAMMING: The technician is responsible for implementing behavioral, social, and academic plans for each individual client as assigned by the supervising BCBA., Attend required monthly supervision meetings either in the home. Use only evidence-based practices designated by the supervising BCBA to support programming.
- PARENT TRAINING: The technician is responsible for training the parent(s)/guardian to effectively implement the plan within the home and community setting.
- COLLABORATION WITH OTHER PROFESSIONALS: The technician will collaborate among and between any other professions working with the individuals.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
