A 2022 Seattle’s Top Dentist general dental practice is looking to add a full time Registered Dental Hygienist! We have a warm, enthusiastic, passionate, and high energy team and are looking for a candidate with the same qualities to help us continue to put Patient Service first!

While experience is always a plus, we have a proven process for training those new to the field, and welcome anyone who is passionate about dentistry! New grads welcome!

This is a full time position. Hours are M/W 8:00a - 5p, T/Th 7:00a - 4p.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• Assist Doctor with treatment planning and coordination
• Sterilize dental instruments properly
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
• Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
• Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
• Take X-rays or dental impressions
• Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
• Monitor supplies

Qualifications

• Licensed dental hygienist in the State of Washington.
• Friendly, kind, detail oriented and a TEAM PLAYER.
• Goal driven individual who possesses high energy, a positive and friendly attitude
• Must be someone who practices exemplary dentistry
• A team player with excellent and professional communication skills
• Focused on our vision and committed to providing an unprecedented level of care to patients
