We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive dental care such as flossing and routine checkups, and will educate patients about ways to improve their oral hygiene. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be familiar with basic dentistry techniques, and possess an ability to treat patients in a courteous manner.
Responsibilities:
- Brush patients' teeth, removing plaque and tartar.
- Clean patients' teeth by applying a variety of polishing techniques, as well as by applying fluoride to prevent tooth decay.
- Educate patients on the importance of dental hygiene; maintain dental records.
- Perform preventive or routine dental procedures, such as x-rays and fillings.
- Communicate with dentists in order to make the patient comfortable and ensure that the job is being done correctly.
