An exciting opportunity just became available for a knowledgeable RN to lead and serve as the Inpatient Services Nurse Manager at a Community Hospital in South Central Colorado.
This Community Medical Center boasts 20 beds and a full range of medical services. The Nurse Manager will lead the assigned hospital departments to continue the Hospital’s high standards of providing exceptional patient care. The Hospital Family is filled with Champions of Excellence who are staff members who have served the Hospital for more than a decade.
Reporting directly to the Director of Med/Surg, Emergency and Extended Care Services, the Inpatient Services Nurse Manager will oversee all aspects of inpatient care as well as the Extended Care Unit. They will lead a team of 30+ FTEs and work closely with the other leaders in the hospital. This Nurse Manager will be able to keep their skills current and help cover the different departments of the hospital when needed.
This Nurse Manager will also help to supervise and guide functions of the surgery and emergency departments for the Hospital. They will work with the different department team members for each patient to ensure safe and timely discharges with a focus on patient satisfaction. They will also be in charge of organizing department functions and activities for the hospital nursing staff and promote an interdisciplinary team approach.
Located in South Central Colorado, the Nurse Manager will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Great Sand Dunes National Park.
