I'm working with a Hospice group in the Pasadena and Waldorf MD areas and we're looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) to come join us full-time at one of these locations!

Position Summary: Assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Render professional care in accordance with the physician/provider treatment plan and the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team, provide case management and nursing care to assigned patients, and address the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual aspects of care. RNs are the clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the population served. Observe patient progress, record pertinent observations, implement physician and nursing treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes.

Responsibilities include providing direct patient care according to the patient's hospice plan of care, collaborates with patient/family when developing plan of care, assists in the assessment of family needs for bereavement services, electronic documentation, assist field teams when needed, along with any other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current Maryland RN Nursing license.
• 2-3 years of nursing experience in medical/surgical or critical care experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care and possess the ability to assess patient’s needs.
• Ability to perform consistently in stressful situations.
