We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Radiologic Technologist with Cath Lab experience who is interested in transitioning into a medical sales role to be a key team member in the communication between referral sources and our clinic. This role is heavily focused on relationship-building and reports directly to the Clinical Operations Director and the Managing Physician.
Focus Areas Include:
Coordinate and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that will increase service line referrals into our outpatient facilities.
Work collaboratively with the clinical director and managing physician to develop territory strategies, identify opportunities and increasing clinic performance.
Consistently source, evaluate and execute business opportunities to create long-term value.
Specific Job Functions
- Delivers on key KPls for assigned office including client management, routing, territory management, sales target optimization, and appropriate referral generation that lead to procedure growth.
- Establishes ongoing relationship with call points that involves trouble-shooting patient and referral issues, managing expectations, providing continued education about our service lines and treatment options.
- Identify strategic marketing and business development opportunities to achieve growth by tracking and monitoring all referrals to ensure system efficient.
- Responsible for the distribution of patient facing materials, referrals tools, and new partner packets to referring practices.
- Meet routinely with referral sources to ensure strong patient healthcare integration and improve practice relations.
- Identify new referral sources and work to maintain consistent territory referral growth.
- Understands and articulate the value proposition of Modern Vascular and our points of differentiation vs. competitive practices.
- Create learning opportunities for top referring sources giving them direct access to latest innovations and our local doctors.
- Work with office staff to coordinate and promote community events to highlight our services, provide disease education and build community relationships.
- Utilizes Salesforce to detail daily activity and communications with referral contacts.
- Convey market intel, industry expertise and networking opportunities to local and national sales team to improve the clinic and provider position in the healthcare market.
- Maintain effectively and professional communications with managing staff, patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
- Local travel within territory. Some overnight travel may be required for training or conferences
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must have Cath Lab experience.
Ability to work in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders. Comfortable solving complex problems with creative solutions.
Strong working knowledge of healthcare referral process and proven success with business growth development initiatives.
Creative, independent thinker with the ability to work both independently and as part of an innovative team.
Ability to quickly understand vascular health care, referral process for specialty service lines and medical insurances.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communications, or equivalent combination of related education preferred.
Health care industry experience required.
At least 3 years' experience in healthcare and hospital industry sales, medical equipment sales or imaging services required
Excellent oral and written communication skills plus the ability to confidently deliver presentations to Physicians, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Office Managers and Case Managers.
Great organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively is required.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office -Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Salesforce and Linkin.
Clinical license as RN, LPN, RT, or RVT required.
