Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview:

• Perform acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgement, and nursing skill based on the principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in the provision of patient care
• Provide care, counsel, and teaching to patients
• Perform medical treatments, administers medications, and collects laboratory specimens as prescribed
• Supervise, teach, and delegate to other personnel the performance of nursing care activities.
• Explains plans of care to patients and their families

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Qualifications:

• RN Licensure: KY license or compact license
• CPR by ARC or AHA
