Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing patient care in a safe and effective manner. Additional responsibilities include directing the Patient Care Technician activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning of care/intervention, teaching of patients/family, implementation of treatment plan/MD orders, documentation and evaluation. Integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values. The employee shall support Saddleback Memorial Medical Center’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the performance improvement plan.

Pay Range: $44.48 - $69.74

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications


Experience

One year acute care experience in Critical Care nursing required. Word processing and order entry experience desirable
Education/License/Certification
Current CA RN license
Current BCLS-C
Current ACLS
Current NIHSS
Bachelors of Science in Nursing or higher preferred
