Job Summary
STORAGExperts is looking to hire a motivated, Self Storage Relief Manager that will help the Property Manager in leasing and running of Storage Facility. The qualified candidate would be an energetic, outgoing, detail oriented, self-starter with excellent sales and customer service skills. Being a team player and working well with others is also an essential skill to be successful in this role. Opportunities for advancement and career growth within. Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the property i.e.: making payments, completing daily bank deposits, open/closing of office, calling delinquencies, etc.
- Guide new customers through the rental processes and agreements
- Focus on increasing occupancy and merchandise sales
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer problems, and handling all online, telephone, and walk in inquires
- Clean units as vacated as well as hallways and common grounds as needed
- Demonstrate being able to work in a team environment
- Dispatch, receive, and maintain U-Haul Truck Rentals
Qualifications, Skills, and Education
Education
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (Required)
Experience and Qualifications
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Power Point
- Superior people and organizational skills
- Self-Storage software experience i.e.: Sitelink is a plus
- Customer service, general office skills, and retail sales is a plus
- Weekend availability is required
- Possess a strong work ethic to succeed in a customer service environment
Work Environment
- Clean, professional, and friendly work environment in an office like setting.
- Frequent outdoor exposure working in outdoor weather conditions.
- Time periods where high traffic may occur as well down time where busy work can be accomplished.
Physical Demands
- Stationary Position: Frequently remains stationary up to 50% of the time and sitting up to 2 hours.
- Move/Traverse: Frequently bend, stand, stoop and/or walk.
- Carry Weight: Infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Hearing and Speech: Frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with clients who have inquiries about their storage accounts, billing invoice or other related account matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Sight: Frequent use of sight to detect images on computers, office documents, facility objects near and far.
- Climb: Occasionally ascends/descends a flight of stairs to service the lights and/or reach overhead.
License
- Must have your own transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance to perform this job.
